AltPornNow (APNow for short) is a community of like minded individuals who share a common interest in alternative forms of sexual expression.

What is AltPorn?

#4 Laughter is the Best Medicine. Paradoxically, it is important that we not take ourselves or others, too seriously. We’ve all been enraptured by a forum discussion, heated debate ensues and just when its getting heavy, someone posts that iconic image of a man and his computer exclaiming “the Internet: Serious Business”
#5 Gossip Kills. If you weren’t in the room when so and so, told so and so, that so and so isn’t all that. Remember our purpose here, promote ourselves and always think of the greater good of the community.
Who’s the person behind AltPornNow?
That’s easy. It’s me … Kelly Lind. Yes, you may or may not be familiar with a certain site that shall remain nameless that i used to run. And because of that site you may be a little hesitant to be a part of this one. Let me put your worried mind to rest. I’ve spent the last two years rebuilding myself. Its not that i dont have negative thoughts anymore, its not that i dont have opinions, its not that i dont get a little fed up every now and then. The difference is that i choose to spend my time thinking about positive things, building communities, and just in general being a better person. I have sent out apology letters to countless people that my previous site touched in a negative way. If you feel you were left out, I’d be happy to write you a personal apology. But i want you all to know that people change. In part, this site will help me give back to something i helped tear apart. I thank you for your understanding and i look forward to changing in every way possible what you thought you knew about Kelly Lind.
Will you cover all aspects of the genre?
In a word, Yes! We will always do our best to remain fair and balanced. Frankly, that’s one of the major reasons for starting this site. I looked around and everyone seemed to be playing favorites like we’re all back in high school. In my book, hot is hot. Its just plain easier to talk with them because I’ve already hung out at their houses, had dinner, and probably shot them. But i will make every effort to make new contacts and keep in the loop with everyone. I hope everyone can meet me half way, because my mission is to cover AltPorn as a whole, not a single minded view. Now i’d like to explain something here because i know it will come up. There may be an uneven amount of posts for some of the megasites, thats simple mathematics, they put more content out there, they have more events going on, more models to interview, you name it. This can’t be helped. Id also like to say that i already found an affiliate that essentially wouldn’t have me, IShotMyself.com. They state on their affiliates page that they’re not intereted in sites that are just starting. In addition, im sorta scared to death of doing business with SuicideGirls. I’d love to feature their site, write about them often, i just don’t want to be sued. So i’ve gotta think about that one. I hope they will extend an email my way and welcome my participation in the promotion of their site. In any case, i will do my best job to give everyone equal playing time on the field. Go Team!
